Op mijn 1e artikel https://nl.wikinews.org/wiki/Cycloon_Idai_mogelijk_grootste_natuurramp_ooit_op_zuidelijk_halfrond komen bij de bronvermelding de URL en titel niet goed tot hun recht. == incitement to crime ==

Sorry for writing in English.

I wasn't able to find an editing policy on edits and images that incite to crime. For example, this image inciting people to set fire to refugee centers was added to several pages of Wikimedia Foundation projects including https://nl.wikinews.org/wiki/Categorie:Migratie_en_Itali%C3%AB without any apparent reason other than to promote hate and crime against refugees. I can imagine that it could even be put back in an article such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_detention if that already had a discusson of hatred and violence against refugees and already had other images showing immigration detention or reception centers themselves, not just a completely random incendiary message on some wall about these centers. --Espoo (overleg) 15 sep 2019 13:49 (CEST)
:You are free to nominate the image for deletion on Commons if you think it shouldn't belong there. Actually the purpose of using the image is just the opposite, i.e. to denounce such kind of incitement to violence. (gebruiker:Ymnes, it was you started this new category last year. Do you agree with Espoo's argument that the image is inappropriate because it would promote violence against immigrants?) ::Espoo In according to my opinion it educates people to do good, in stead of iciting them to crime. Ymnes (overleg) 15 sep 2019 18:06 (CEST)
:::I'm pretty sure it's against the rules and basic principles of the Wikimedia Foundation unless it's in connection with articles dealing with hatred and violence against migrants and together with other images showing other aspects of migration in Italy.
:::Its use as the only image on https://nl.wikinews.org/wiki/Categorie:Migratie_en_Itali%C3%AB is especially bad and completely gratuitous since it in no way illustrates migration as a whole in Italy, only one byproduct of it, and gives a completely distorted view of migration in Italy, which consists almost exclusively of normal, sane people helping or at least not hurting migrants and definitely not calling for violence against them; sane critics of migration criticize politicians, not the migrants, and most definitely do not call for violence against them. This image here gives completely irrational undue publicity to the views of a very small, irrational, and criminal minority amongst vocal critics of migration, which are themselves a minority, even in Italy.
:::Use of this picture alone is also very bad, sensationalist journalism. If any kind of image dealing with hatred towards migrants and incitement to violence against them is considered newsworthy enough in a responsible news outlet to be the only image in an article on migration, it would be something like a picture of a burning refugee reception center or its wounded or fearful inhabitants, for example, not a random slogan on a random wall.
:::This slogan and its image here very clearly constitutes incitement to crime and constitutes very real danger if publicly visible even if it may educate some people and thereby do good. It constitutes real danger and is therefore probably illegal in most countries (at least in its current form as a lone illustration and presented without any kind of background information, simply as public incitement to violence). --Espoo (overleg) 17 sep 2019 10:57 (CEST)
::::You've got a complete wrong interpretation of this matter. The image was accompanied with a very good explanation, of which the visitor can learn. Someone must be a complet idiot when he would be incited by this image+explanation to enlight a CIE. The only reason that I removed the image now, is because I don't want this discussion. But, actually, to stick to principles, I should have kept it there. Please go back to your own language. Ymnes (overleg) 17 sep 2019 18:07 (CEST)
